Here are the festivals we have coming up in July & August.
Our first time in the Czech Republic, we’ve heard they’re a bit mad which really suits us. The Prodigy headline the night we’re there. Check out their site here, it looks great and almost guaranteed sunshine!
Look at us playing two gigs in one day in the Netherlands! I think that means we get to session twice as hard?. If you know any heads in the area let them know we’re coming. We’ll even accept Kilkenny folk.
One of our highlights last year was this festival in Macroom. Such a good vibe about the place and they’ve announced an excellent line up including Leftfield, Sister Sledge, Mungo’s Hi-fi, General Levy and the Stanton Warriors. Check out their full line up here and then go buy yourself a ticket. The below is from our set there last year, we didn’t even know there was fire up above us until we saw this photo!
These lads took a chance and booked us years ago and we played on the back of a truck at 2 in the morning! We’ve since graduated from back of truck to a tent and throw in the fact our biggest ever headline show was in Cork last year, we’re expecting big things from our return trip to Deer Farm. Check out the line-up here and the below image is from the Cork Opera House in October last year.
We’re doing just two dates in Dublin dates this year (the other being a headline gig at The Olympia in October) and this date in Dun Laoghaire. We’ve been to the festival as punters in previous years and if we get the weather it will be a fantastic gig. Orbital, St. Germain and the Sugarhill Gang play the same day as us or you can make a weekend of it with 2 weekend tickets for the price of 1, get them here until the end of April.
August is shaping up to a busy month this summer, and we stop off at the Canal Quarter Festival on Saturday the 18th. Tickets are on sale now from here.
We round off the month with a big gig on our doorstep as Daytripper takes place on the last weekend of the month. We’re playing the Saturday night along with Jenny Greene, Billy Scurry, Johnny Moy and the headlines Basement Jaxx. We’ve had some good times at Daytripper, and not to mention last summers gig at Spraoi which was unreal last year. Now if we can have a repeat of that weather! Tickets from here.
